Submission Deadline: Friday, August 14, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. CDT.
Student Poster Award
Eligibility: Individuals who are enrolled as a student or trainee (e.g., postdoctoral fellow, pre-doctoral interns or externs, resident) at the time of submission and/or at the time of the conference are eligible to submit their posters for consideration for the Dr. Abby E. Seifert Memorial Student Poster Award. Students must be the first author of the abstract and present their poster at the conference.
About the award: The Dr. Abby E. Seifert Memorial Student Poster Award honors the late Dr. Seifert for her unrelenting support of students during her long tenure with STRONG STAR as it recognizes excellence in student-led research efforts. The annual award is presented at the beginning of the morning program on Day 2 of the conference.
