Accelerating Recovery: Essential Socratic Questioning for PTSD
What is keeping your patients stuck in PTSD, and how can you get them unstuck as efficiently as possible? This workshop focuses on one of the most powerful tools for promoting PTSD recovery: effective trauma-focused Socratic questioning.
Not all beliefs are equally influential, and not all questions are effective. This workshop will help you get more out of treatment by targeting the beliefs most central to traumatic stress and exploring them through effective, collaborative questioning. With a systematic, step-by-step approach, participants will learn to identify, prioritize, and skillfully evaluate the key beliefs that keep patients stuck, allowing for meaningful and lasting recovery. The workshop is designed for clinicians across experience levels and will include case examples, live demonstrations, and experiential exercises.
